Fox Racing, a family-owned-and-operated business, was created back in 1974 when Geoff Fox, a professor at the University of Santa Clara, CA, decided to launch a company that specialized in motocross parts and accessories.

Six years later, Fox Racing would do more than produce motocross parts. They would be producing champions. With Mark Barnett's 1980 National Championship win and Brad Lackey's World Motocross Win in '82, Fox would become the go-to company with award-winning riders and a line of highly durable, extremely flexible and eye-catching product.

Those traits "durable, flexible and colorful" are still benchmarks of Fox Racing's gear lineup today. For instance, the pants found in their Tactic line are versatile enough to allow the use of knee bracers or cups, and they utilize a Kevlar-style material to protect you from the heat of exhaust pipes. The Tactic pants also have rubber padding on the seat for extra gripping so you're not sliding and falling around, but safely positioned on your bike down those rough terrain patches.

And the Sidewinder glove has silicone grip print on the fingertips for better handling, a reinforced thumb design and Spandura® panels on the back of the hand to showcase the flexibility Fox builds into their gear. All the better to prevent blisters and to give you maximum comfort while wearing the product, because each and every piece that Fox produces is created with the input from for racers. And each piece of gear is field tested meticulously to ensure that it not only keeps you, the rider, safe, but that it doesn't fall apart after the first spill or thirty-first spill.
