MSR uses polycarbonate shell construction to lead off their lineup in the Velocity X MX helmet. This technology reduces overall weight to reduce fatigue and improve rider performance. A rubber gasket surrounds a large eye port opening. It helps grip goggle straps and deflects roost and debris. MSR uses aluminum screws to secure a long vented visor so there is little chance to tear it off. Proven to stand up to harsh conditions, the Velocity X helmet will perform when it is needed.
