The VFX-DT has some of the largest vents on the market to keep the rider cool. Air is taken in from the front and then the oversize extractor vents in the back take hot air out, creating a generous amount of airflow through the helmet. Shoei made this helmet to perform as well as it cools. To be practical, the pad system is removable so it can be washed.
