SUBMIT A REVIEWLighter. Better. Stronger. Thor took their Force series helmet and one upped it by mixing the carbon with a resin to form a pre-impregnated sheet that forms the outermost layer of the shell. The process is also done by hand, so each helmet is truly a labor of love with the guaranteed result of increased fatigue resistance and dimensional stability. And the whole thing weighs a little bit more than three pounds. So if you’re looking for a helmet that can take a good pounding, exceeds Snell and DOT standards, and still performs like the first day it was taken out of the box, Thor’s Force carbon fiber helmet is the helmet for you. The Force helmet comes with a lot of padding for greater comfort and fit. You’ll find the three-piece, dual-density liner absorbs sweat better and the cheek pads won’t push your lips together giving you carp mouth. Comes with a spare visor, just in case you manage to break the original one. And while the designs on the helmet are a bit sparse, it’s the weave of the carbon design that gives each helmet its own individual look, sort of like a big old thumbprint for your head, because no two riders are alike. Why should their helmets be duplicates?
