Few helmet manufacturers command the kind of devotion Shoei helmets inspire in racers and sportbike riders around the globe. Having manufactured helmets since the company’s inception in Japan in1959, Shoei has pioneered motorcycle helmet technology through material innovation, extensive product testing and sponsorships for some of MotoGP’s most respected athletes. Shoei has sponsored GP500 champions like Wayne Rainey, Wayne Gardner, Eddie Lawson and Alex Criville while breaking industry ground. Obtaining SNELL certification in 1971 made Shoei an early leader in motorcycle safety technology, followed by breakthroughts like the GR-Z, the world’s first carbon fiber motorcycle helmet. As Shoei continues to make world-class quality helmets today, having expanded their line to include motocross and dual sport helmets as well as street riding, racing, open face and modular helmets. The Shoei RF 100 helmet is one of the most popular street riding helmets, followed quickly by the next generation RF 1100, both of which offer innovative design features such as aerodynamic shell design, EPS liner systems, integrated intake-outtake holes and a strong fiber shell construction. Motocross helmets are made with the same detailed design, offering smooth performance and safety for the sport rider as well as the professional racer.

Shoei conveys its technologies to many different styles of helmets. Among their most popular are the full-faced helmets (X-Eleven and RF-1000), used primarily for street bike riding. Additional products include their motocross helmet selection (VFX-DT and V-Moto) along with open face and flip-up helmets (modular helmets as in the Multitec helmet).
