SUBMIT A REVIEWHaving gear to match riding conditions is necessary. Polar-Tex gloves are ready to tackle frigid temperatures. A drawstring cinches up over jackets to seal out cold air and a Velcro strap wraps around wrists for security and a second way to stop cold air from reaching hands. Thinsulate lining is great for warming hands. A waterproof liner wicks away any moisture that may accumulate. Outer shell construction is a rough nylon and a leather palm adds durability. Turn on grip warmers and let Thinsulate stop cold air from reaching fingers in Polar-Tex gloves.
Just came back from my first ride using these gloves. Keep in mind that my hands get cold very easily so I consider myself hard to please in this department. The ambient temp was about 45F. After 45 minutes or so I was starting to feel the cold creeping in. I was expecting the gloves to be bulky but to my surprise had no trouble operating switches and buttons. The palms and fingers have a nice curve in them so you're not straining to keep your hand wrapped around the grips. I love them and would highly recommend them!
