    The all-new Arai CORSAIR-V is the most extensive race tested helmet ever. This successor to the legendary RX-7 Corsair, has been developed in actual MotoGP and Grand Prix races. Tested at high speeds on the straights of international racetracks. Designed for and used by winning professional riders. The result is the stunning new CORSAIR-V with an adjustable Air Wing that significantly reduces buffeting and drag when the riders emerge from a full tuck when braking from high speeds, enhancing concentration. At the same time the Air Wing increases the top speed thanks to the improved aerodynamic properties of the new CORSAIR-V.



    Peripherally Belted SNC Shell: A belt laid peripherally on the top of the eye-opening of the shell increases the rigidity of the shell even further. This belt construction was devised during F-1 helmet development to reinforce the forehead area of the shell. The main material of the outer shell is Arai’s exclusive Super Fiber, now with increased fiber density. It is now no less than 35% stronger in both anti-stretch and anti-compress ability compared to standard fiber. The shell rigidity has also been increased after extensive experiments with different fiber thicknesses, different fiber after treatment procedures and different combinations of resins. An organic material named ‘’AR Mat’’ which has a lower specific gravity is used in the shell. It has further been improved for superior bonding with the Super Fiber which helps to increase the shell rigidity even more. The PB SNC shell offers the ultimate combination between strength, lightness and flexibility.SNC (Structural Net Composite) incorporates a structural net reinforcing material embedded between Arai’s exclusive Super Complex Laminate layers.



    Diffuser Type 10:Newly equipped with ‘’Air In Stabilizer’’, an additional air intake between the front and rear intake in the diffuser and large toggles. The Air-In ports help accelerate air out the back, increasing airflow without increasing the size of the holes in the shell. The reshaped and aligned front intake scoops, flow more air into the helmet utilizing the same 10mm size holes. This new diffuser guides more air in and more air out, using aero dynamic design instead of simply making bigger holes or larger, and therefore noisier and less aero dynamic vents. The reshaped Delta Duct 5 air intake increases air flow and lowers noise levels. Thanks to this new ventilation system, interior temperatures are lowered much faster than with previous versions



    Emergency Release Cheek Pads:Both cheek pads and the neck roll can be removed in seconds thanks to the advanced Emergency Release System. Rescue and medical workers can easily remove the newly designed removable neck roll and the cheek pads by just pulling the pad release tabs. This offers extra room within the helmet, making removal of the helmet much easier and minimizing the risk of additional injury.



    Wider aperture/larger visor:The CORSAIR-V has a wider aperture offering a wider angle of view or peripheral vision. The CORSAIR-V benefits from a wider visor aperture that offers more view through the bends, giving you every time that split-second advantage accelerating out of corners. And especially in racing, every advantage is important. The next generation, race tested Super AdSis ‘’I’’ visor is extended by 5 mm at both sides. Ridges along the upper edge of the aperture offer a smooth transition between shield and shell, reducing wind noise and impact in case of an accident, because there is less chance that the visor is ripped away from the holders.



    Ventilation:Redesigned, integrated high-efficiency ventilation system. Air taken from the visor brow vents is directed to the temple area through special inner duct air channels. The multiplier effect of the Side Exhaust Duct 3 and the new NE (‘’Neck Exhaust’’) Nozzle 2 increases the ventilation effect at the lower part of the helmet. Fresh air is redirected from the brow vent air across the temples and to the ears, which radiate much body heat, and is then efficiently exhausted out via the newly designed side cowls. It all works closely together with the Diffuser Type 10 and the new Delta Duct Type 5 air intake to significantly increase interior air flow. Stagnant air at the back of the helmet interior is exhausted by the vacuum effect of the NE Nozzle 2, keeping the inside more comfortable. The new Power Intake Shutter increases the amount of airflow into the helmet.



    Safety:Penetration tested shell features Hyper Rib ridge lines around the bottom that prevent compressing of the shell. Sleek, aerodynamic Side Exhaust Duct-3 integrated into the shell regulate air stream and prevent buffeting at speed. The newly shaped side cowls with the aero dynamic performance of the Air Wing combine to add overall stability to the helmet. The simple redesign of the cowl vents creates equal inward air pressure against the sides of the helmet, reducing lateral turbulence and buffeting, previously caused when air was simply allowed to flow off the shell.

When I found out about this Arai Hopkins helmet sale I just had to have it! You never find a helmet this good for so cheap. It’s a top quality helmet. Performance details like the intricately woven skull cap stitching and the way the vents on the visor work into the liner let you know this is quality. Even the chin strap looks nice with a little tab on it that keeps the excess strap from flapping against your neck while you ride.

The Arai Corsair V Hopkins Monster helmet felt a little heavy in my hands at first, (heavier than my Suomy), but when I put it on it fit great. Arai did a good job with the ventilation versus the Suomy so, I give it an A for ventilation. Changing the visor is easier too. You’ll regret not picking up one of these helmets when they’re gone.

At first I was unsure about the Arai Monster helmet because I couldn’t change the visors easily. I actually called and talked to someone on the phone there who was really helpful. Just make sure you sit BEHIND the helmet when you change visors it’s much easier that way. Like everyone has said, its really comfortable and the weight disappears when you put it on your head like you could almost forget its there.

Saw the helmet online and ordered the Arai Monster Energy Helmet the next day. It looks cool, fits well and I like the way it ventilates. I let a friend try it and he was impressed with how it fit and more by how well it ventilated. Only thing that’s kind of gimmicky is the air wing. I don’t think it does anything, even when I go fast on the highway. Other than that, really happy with this purchase.

How a helmet like the monster helmet with so many vents works without being loud is beyond me. No rumbling and it only whistles slightly when I turn my head to look behind, but that’s only for a few seconds. This Arai discount Hopkins helmet deal is a great buy.

With my previous Arai helmet I could see the edges of the helmet a little bit but the new Corsair V definitely has a bigger eye piece so if you’re upgrading from an older model you’ll need a new shield also. The vent buttons are much bigger so they’re easier to grab when you want to open or close them. Looking at all the designs they had, the Hopkins Arai helmet was the one I liked most so it was good to find it on sale.

Guy on the phone said the helmet is hand built, which is why they usually cost so much, but it was the Arai hopkins replica discount that was the clincher. It’s very comfortable and I like the vents and the way you open and close them. I would recommend the Arai Corsair Hopkins helmet to anyone that would listen it is really that good!

I’m glad the Arai Corsair Monster is SNELL approved because I already tested one! You NEVER FIND a discount Arai motorcycle helmet like this so I’m glad I came across this one. The helmet is strong, light and good looking with a sort of sheen in the monster paint scheme. Always been an Arai fan, too bad the Corsair Hopkins Monster helmet is going away since John isn’t riding for Kawasaki anymore.

Found a reason to update my previous Arai Corsair when I saw the Arai Hopkins sale here. It doesn’t look like much at first glance, but after you look closely there are many things this helmet has that are new like the orange emergency release tabs on the cheek pads and the adjustable spoiler on the rear of the helmet. If you’re upgrading you have to get a new visor since none of them I had for my Corsair worked. Oh well, it’s worth if you can get an Arai Monster Energy helmet at this price!

The Hopkins Arai Helmet looks as good as it fits. What I was surprised by was how quiet the helmet is on the ride. Usually I wear ear plugs and I always heard a low rumbling sound with my Shark helmet, but this one you only hear the wind. The visor change works good and its easy to open the vents on top. Thanks for the Arai Hopkins sale!

I decided to buy this helmet after I read somewhere that the Arai Monster helmet has a one piece liner that’s made up of different thickness foam so it is a really safe helmet. I hope I don’t have to test it but it sounds good on paper. Since I got my Arai Monster replica I get a lot of compliments out on the road and I really like drinking monster, so it kind of makes sense anyway.
