When out on longer rides, wind noise is a big factor in rider fatigue. The Shoei TZ-R helmet uses its advanced aerodynamic wind tunnel testing to reduce the noise produced by the visor and vents. Speaking of vents, the vent in the front of the chin, the lower vent is specifically designed to stop fogging and reduce any moisture build up on the visor. Having this feature allows your visibility stay clear through the CX-1V standard shield (which will fit many other Shoei helmets). Like all of their helmets, Shoei uses AIM technology in the shell to disperse impacts and reduce abrasion.
