The Alloy name says it all. The Alpinestars Alloy jacket is a hybrid of leather and mesh construction with stretch Kevlar panels to improve fit quality. The leather is placed in possible high abrasion areas while the Kevlar and mesh help with the cooling and fit functions. For back protection there is an internal foam back pad that can be upgraded to CE approved armor like the shoulders and elbows. On the lower back, there is even more external padding underneath the leather. This area also incorporates the waist adjustment for the proper fit.
