The boots come with a 3-buckle design so you can decide how tight you want them to fit. The boots are not waterproof; however, breathable mesh inserts in the boot help them dry out rather quickly for those moments you decide to jump into puddles or go singing in the rain. You’ll see the street riding specific soles offer great, almost aggressive traction for walking about in slippery conditions so they’re perfect for wintery atmospheres. The boots, as previously mentioned, are very stiff at first but do break in quickly and the insides have a generous amount of padding which makes them easy to get on and off. Some riders have complained the boot is thick with the shift, but breaking them in seems to help adjust that problem. A large yellow Icon logo on the back can be glaring at first, but nothing some spray paint or marker can’t take care of either. All in all, the Icon Field Boot is one of the better choices for street stunt riding and armored wear. I bought these boots after reading many reviews. Most of the reviews I read listed off multiple cons including bulkiness, heavyness and people had to adjust their shifters. After getting these boots home, they were so comfortable and after a couple hours wearing them around the house/garage they are getting broken in already. When I first picked them up I was so surprised because they don't weigh as much as you would think. I did not have to adjust my shifter the boots fit fine. Maybe it depends on the style of bike a person drives, I have a sportbike. They are a great price, good fit, excellent protection and I look like I'm going to kick a$$ when I get off my bike. I highly recommend.

I have had my boots for over three years and have 60000 ks riding with them still like new.I walked for miles in them as well and no problem will have another pair if these ever wear out .
