Ordered medium as they did not have small and was concerned it would be too large for my 33 inch waist, as I may wear it just over underpants or light shorts. I might have been better with the small, but the medium works fine. Quality is excellent. Knee pads do right high, so it requires careful attention to have them remain over knees.
