Yoshimura RS-4 Slip-On Muffler Stainless/Stainless/Carbon for Kaw ZX-6R 09-12

Yoshimura R&D has developed a brand new exhaust system for the newly redesigned ZX-6R, the RS-4. While the RS-4 was debuted as Yosh's premier exhaust for off-road racing applications, R&D couldn't stop there. They have mated this sophisticated and stylish muffler to compliment the styling of Kawasaki's new bike. The RS-4 is a technological marvel. Yoshimura's duplex chamber cancels out negative exhaust pulses - effectively acting as a mechanical baffle before gases reach the perforated muffler tube. The result is improved power output while keeping sound levels below what you'd except from a performance exhaust system.

The RS-4 is a pentagonal shaped muffler that features a carbon fiber cone end cap, two staged stepped baffle and striking good looks. The RS-4 muffler features a new front cap design that functions as a polyresonant chamber, thus creating a more quiet muffler with improved mid to top end power.

Along with improving sound and power, this system moves the muffler weight lower and closer to the bike for improved handling and weight distribution. Yoshimura continues to provide the best in performance exhaust systems.

This Slip-On system includes an RS-4 muffler with stainless steel mid-pipe and a laser cut heatshield along with all the necessary hardware for installation.
