This jacket is pretty true to size. I bought one size up from my normal size. I'm quite large chested and found I could easily fit a couple of layers under it if necessary, but even with just the one layer it still fits well. You can definitely see I'm a woman and not just a leather blob on a bike. The adjustable waist is super handy to adjust the sizing and uses incredibly strong velcro to keep it in place.
